A place for everything, and everything in its place. We're not here to lecture on picking up after yourself (although...), but rather to remind you that some pieces are made for each other. Just as you'd choose the right frame for a picture, this table displays its vase to perfect advantage, all the while complicating the relationship between display and displayed. The table reacts to its vase, holds it precariously askew, and turns the simple act of table-top display into a miniature drama.
The ceramic vessel table can take many forms, each combining a handmade ceramic vase (or something else, perhaps?) perfectly paired with beautiful wood and available either with steel or wooden base structure. The size, style and wood species can all be specified by the client. Ultimately, we don't know what your vessel table will look like, exactly, until we begin the process… at which point, since we utilize CAD technology in the creation, we'll be able to send you a computer rendering, to scale, before we take final payment.
Each of the vases is thrown on the wheel by renowned ceramic artist Sara Paloma. She is a top professional in the field and works out of her studio in Oakland, California.
